1. Employee Diversity

We respect the diversity and different values of employees, eradicate any discrimination because of nationality, race, sex, religion, age, and social origin, among other factors, in the recruitment, employment, evaluation and promotion of employees, and devote ourselves to providing equal employment opportunities and working environment.

We actively attract and take on talents of different nationalities and backgrounds across diversified recruitment channels.

Male and female employees have equal access to job opportunities.

We respect the cultures and customs of different ethnic groups, respect the freedom of religion and protect normal religious activities.

We provide appropriate support for disabled employees and help them acquire necessary job skills.

2. Employee Recruitment

Adhering to the recruitment principles of fairness, justice, scientific selection and merit-based employment, we take talents on board by a rich portfolio of flexible means such as social recruitment, campus recruitment and Post-Doctoral Research Center, and improve the quality and composition of talents introduced by the Group.

We develop senior executive and professional recruitment plans based on the needs of business development.

We formulate recruitment plans for fresh graduates, and lock in outstanding ones through summer internship and campus recruitment programs.

We standardize the management of interns, and provide them with internship mentoring and on-the-job training opportunities. Those with excellent performance during internship have the chance to become full-time employees.

We set a national Post-Doctoral Research Center to train high-level talents in academic and practice settings.

3. Employee Rights and Benefits

We resolutely resist child labor and promote our suppliers to comply with relevant regulations.

We abide by the laws and regulations in the places where we operate, and protect the rights of employees to pay for their work, rest and leave, labor safety and health protection, vocational skills training, social insurance and welfare.

We abide by the laws and regulations related to employee health and safety, and maintain the safety of the workplace. We protect employees’ health and safety through supplementary medical insurance, accident insurance and regular physical examination.

We protect employees’ personal information and privacy, and keep employees’ salaries, health conditions, family status and other information strictly confidential.

We provide employees with diverse benefits and extend more care to them:

We provide basic pension insurance, basic medical insurance, work-related injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance and housing provident fund for employees.

We provide employees with canteen or lunch subsidies, heatstroke prevention and cooling subsidies, annual physical examination, festival and birthday gifts, etc.

We provide enterprise annuities and supplementary medical insurance for employees.

We regularly visit employees under financial stress and offer material and financial support to them.

We have nursing rooms and corresponding facilities to provide convenience for breastfeeding employees.

4. Employee Training and Promotion

Following the principle of equality and non-discrimination, we provide employees with training, skills development and career advancement opportunities across all stages of their career. We regularly improve the content of our training plan to better meet the needs of employees.

We develop training management regulations such as the Measures of Industrial Securities Co., Ltd. for Training Management, and leverage Industrial Securities Wealth Management College and Industrial Securities Party School to ensure that employee training is systematic and standard.

We launch leadership-related training for frontline officials, reserve officials and middle and high-level leaders, and strengthen the official team.

We provide female employees with career planning and training courses to support their career advancement.

We conduct business-related training for business specialists and key business staff to enhance the professionalism of employees.

We promote orientation training, and strengthen new employees’ learning, understanding and recognition of the group culture, thus laying a good foundation for their business collaboration and career advancement.

We meet the training needs of all kinds of employees with the E-Learning system and other online training platforms.

We provide a dual-track career advancement channel with management positions going side by side with professional ranks, and put in place a market-oriented employment mechanism where employees are ready to take a lower as well as a higher post and to advance and retreat, so that more employees with outstanding performance and great potential can grow rapidly.

We encourage employees to sit for relevant certified qualification examinations and participate in senior professional title evaluations, and set corresponding incentive standards to support employees to obtain relevant professional certificates or degrees, so as to enhance their abilities and professionalism. For employees who take the certified qualification or professional title qualification examinations, we give them, in principle, one day off for each examination subject before the examination, so that they have more time to revise. Their wages and benefits during the day off will remain unchanged.

5. Performance Evaluation and Appeal

We believe that proper performance-based evaluation and feedback can boost the growth of employees. We have in place a well-structured employee performance management system, with the employee performance evaluation mechanism being aligned with and supportive of the Company’s strategy, and able to objectively and fairly assess the work performance and business results of the management members and employees.

We carry out employee performance evaluation every year which covers all regular employees.

We set up a feedback, appeal and handling mechanism for employee performance evaluation, under which supervisors at all levels talk with employees to give them feedbacks. Employees may appeal their evaluation results to us if they hold any objection, and we will carefully verify and give a reply to ensure the objectivity and fairness of the evaluation.

With regard to accountability appeal, we establish a reasonable and effective appeal filing and handling mechanism in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and internal rules. Employees who disagree with accountability punishment of them may submit an explanation and request reconsideration and review. We ensure the confidentiality of the appeal filing process and fully protect the rights and interests of employees who appeal by allowing request for avoidance, keeping relevant documentation properly, implementing the confidentiality requirements of verification, etc.

6. Communication with and Feedback to Employees

We set up a trade union, and protect the right of employees to express reasonable suggestions or opinions through holding the workers’ congress from time to time, so that employees can communicate with the management of the Company without barriers and gain a deeper understanding of the Company and that the labor relations become more harmonious.

We keep abreast of what is going on with our internal communication and how employees are satisfied with it in a variety of forms such as visits, investigations and symposiums, listen to employees’ opinions and suggestions on the development of the Company, and make targeted improvements.

7. Employee Complaints and Reports

We have open channels for employees to present complaints in the form of letters and visits. We deal with complaints made by employees through the above channels according to the Company’s regulation on handling complaints, and keep confidential the complainants. If misconduct and dereliction of duty are really found in investigation and verification, we will pursue the accountability of the person(s) liable as per the Company’s accountability regulation, and transfer those suspected of criminal offenses to competent state organs for handling in accordance with the law.
